Analyze all your chess games at once
A game review checks one game. To find what really costs you points, you need all your games at once: the same positions come back, and so do the same mistakes. Give your chess.com or Lichess username, Stockfish reads your recent games, and you get the 10 mistakes you repeat most as lessons you replay.

How it works
- Type your usernamechess.com or Lichess. No password, nothing to install: we read your public games.
- Stockfish reads your gamesYour recent games, every time control, and what each of your moves cost.
- Your repeats come outThe positions you keep reaching, where you play the same losing move again and again.
- You replay them as lessonsYour exact position, your usual move in red, your turn to find better, then the right line and the point to remember.
One game at a time hides your habits
The game review on chess.com or Lichess is good at one thing: telling you where a single game went wrong. But a mistake you make once is bad luck. A mistake you make every week is a habit, and you cannot see a habit in one game.
Analyzing your games one by one, you would need to remember that the position you lost in today is the one you lost in last month. Nobody does that over hundreds of games. A machine does.
What analyzing all your games finds
- The opening positions you reach again and again, and the move you keep playing there.
- What each of those moves costs you, measured by Stockfish, so the most expensive habits come first.
- The right move in each of those positions, with the line that follows and the one idea to remember.
For one game, use a game review
If you only want to look at the game you just lost, the free game review is enough. Chess X-Ray is for the other question: what do I keep getting wrong?
Your openings, measured
Most repeated mistakes happen in the opening, because you reach the same positions so often. Chess X-Ray also builds masterclasses on the openings you actually play: the line you really play, where your score drops, and the plan you are missing there. The opening guides show the most common club mistakes in each opening.
